Kennecott Copper Mine – One of the most prolific copper mines in the world, the Bingham Canyon, or as the locals know it, Kennecott Copper Mine is a unique south Jordan attraction located in the Oquirrh Mountains. It was named a historic landmark in 1966 and is definitely worth a visit if for no other reason than catching a glimpse of the massive crater left from decades of copper mining.

Gale Center Museum – This city museum is the perfect place for kids. There are tons of interactive exhibits, hands-on objects, and recreations of historic buildings.
