Market Street Grill only has three locations, but one of them is right here in town, only 10 minutes away from us at ICO District. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, their menu boasts only the freshest fish, crab, and lobster, as well as steak, ribs, and pasta. And for a more intimate setting, the Oyster Bar offers the same menu but with a full-service bar. Oysters may not be the aphrodisiac they’re touted as, but the effort goes a long way to make up the difference.
But Market Street Grill is more than a destination: They take great efforts to bring fresh fish cuisine into your home. Their fish markets are open daily, and their website hosts videos teaching you how to prepare your own feast.
The Wild Rose
Only a three-minute drive from ICO District, The Wild Rose opened in 2010 “to bring fine dining to the south end of the Salt Lake Valley.” It’s done a great job so far, offering pan-seared Atlantic salmon, New Zealand rack of lamb, Tecumseh Farms free-range chicken, and much more.
When special occasions arise, The Wild Rose is there to host, and the restaurant hosts special events like entertainment for Valentine’s Day.
Porch
Porch brings the best of Southern comfort food to South Jordan. As the name suggests, the food evokes “laid-back summer evening (quite possibly with a mint julep or sweet iced tea in hand) in the company of friends,” with an open kitchen and high ceilings providing a unique atmosphere in which to enjoy your food. And their presentation game is on point: Just take a look at their Instagram to get a feel for the love they pour into every dish. When food looks AND tastes this good, romance is in the air.
Mystique Dining
Located in West Jordan, Mystique Dining is still only 15 minutes away from ICO District, and it’s well worth the extra drive. As the area’s premier dinner theater experience, Mystique dining offers guests gourmet cuisine and amazing magic performances. Enjoy pomegranate glazed quail or wild caught halibut while watching a member of their fantastic roster of magicians.
